Description:
Every medical billing company wants to optimize the revenue cycle for both themselves and their clients —but the industry may not be thinking big enough when it comes to managing claims, denials and payments. This year, Encoda commissioned an independent survey of practice leaders to learn more about their revenue cycle management challenges, and learned that practices are leaving a significant amount of revenue on the table because of fragmented systems and complacency with their current billing processes. Forty-six percent of the survey respondents described their revenue cycle as “good,” but only 25% of respondents are confident that they’re receiving every dollar they’ve earned from the payers. In this webinar, we’ll walk through the research on RCM pain points, the fragmented landscape of clearinghouses, payer portals, and practice management systems, and where the right innovations can make the biggest difference when it comes to helping practices and billing company clients get paid.

Webinar Objectives:
Course participants will be able to:

  • Understand the fragmented landscape of payer reimbursement and where interventions and innovations could make the biggest difference
  • Speak to current research on attitudes towards RCM
  • Evaluate options to improve the billing process for clients, including making sure practices are paid every penny they’re owed from the payers
