Description:
Revenue cycle management is often treated as a back-office detail, yet it quietly shapes profitability, growth, and physician alignment. For executives, the danger is in what they don’t see: metrics presented without context, data that looks impressive but hides performance gaps, and missed opportunities in payer negotiations or staffing decisions. This session reframes revenue cycle as an executive-level strategy. We’ll expose the blind spots that cost organizations millions and show how to translate billing performance into boardroom priorities. Attendees will leave with a sharper lens on which metrics actually matter, how to demand actionable reporting, and how to position revenue cycle as a strategic asset instead of a sunk cost.

Learning Objectives:
Course participants will be able to:

  • Explain which billing metrics reveal true financial performance and how to connect them to executive decision-making.
  • Identify hidden costs and blind spots in current revenue cycle reporting that undermine profitability.
  • Produce an executive-level reporting framework that positions revenue cycle as a strategic driver of growth and sustainability.
