What Primary Care Clinics Do Not Know - But Should
This exciting one hour webinar recording centers on the most common factors affecting primary care practices that most pcp's are unaware of. For instance, Don points out how Medicare patients are the most profitable (6 times more profitable than typical commercial patients) when the practice is doing what Medicare wants and expects. To that end, we explain how most PCPs are averaging (today) about $247 per year per Medicare patient income, while it should be well over $1600 per year, per patient if the clinic is working smart and providing what the patient truly needs.
This webinar also discusses, in great detail, the most common errors that PCP clinics are making not only in coding, but in dealing with insurance carriers. As an example, more than 80% of primary care clinics routinely refund insurance companies or allow them to recoup, when they can easily stop the carrier with what we will be teaching. At the same time, we'll show attendees how the "timely-filing-limits" they think they have with major carriers do not actually apply on most of the claims to those carriers. Yes - we teach quite a bit in this one hour!
