08/28/2012
LAGUNA BEACH,
CALIFORNIA – August 24, 2012 - The
Healthcare Billing & Management Association (www.HBMA.org),
the premiere, non-profit educational resource and advocacy group
representing third-party medical billing companies and billing
professionals, announced that The Honorable Newt Gingrich will be
giving the Opening Keynote for its Fall Conference at the Gaylord
National Resort & Conference Center in National Harbor, Maryland
on Wednesday, September 12, 2012.
Invited government speakers to the Wednesday conference who will be addressing healthcare issues are: Jonathan Blum, Deputy Director, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS.) and Jacob Reider, MD, Sr. Policy Adviser, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
Among
his many other distinctions, the Honorable Newt Gingrich is former
Speaker of the House, 2012 Presidential Candidate, and March of
Dimes 1995 Citizen of the Year. Speaker Gingrich founded the
Center for Health Transformation in 2003, and because he is widely
recognized for his commitment to a better healthcare system for
all Americans, was chosen to give the Keynote Address to HBMA
members. “We are delighted to have HBMA (www.hbma.org) members hear Speaker Gingrich’s positions on healthcare reform. He is a political insider who is highly familiar with the challenges and evolution of the delivery and financing of healthcare, and how all this will be impacted by the outcome of November’s Presidential election. His message will certainly be from the conservative perspective, and thought provoking for our consideration,” stated HBMA’s Executive Director Bradley J. Lund. |
