WASHINGTON – The Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA) is pleased to present the all-new Spring Educational Executive Symposium. Billing company owners and corporate executives are encouraged to save the date for the event, to be held at the Waldorf Astoria Naples in Naples, FL, April 7-9.
This year's Spring Educational Executive Symposium will focus on strategic planning for long-term growth. Topics will include innovation, business planning and strategy. While all levels of billing and management professionals are invited to attend, the educational lineup places a special focus on strategic planning, so owners and executives will receive extra insight this year.
With access inside the company culture at Southwest Airlines, author Jackie Freiberg provided the secrets behind the greatest success story in commercial aviation, in her national bestselling book, Nuts. Hear Jackie’s keynote address as she shares her research about how the Southwest Airlines culture is the single reason for the company’s success. Attendees will gain insight on how to transfer the Southwest inspirations to their own business and personal life.
“We are eager to share a new format for the HBMA 2014 Spring Educational Executive Symposium, which will focus on billing company owners and corporate executives,” said Phil Ellis, HBMA Education Committee chair. “We are looking forward to hearing Jackie Freiberg, in her keynote address, as she shares how organizational culture plays a critical role in the achievement or failure of any company.”
Freiberg will be joined by guest speakers, Bill Finerfrock, who will share an analysis on the future of healthcare billing as a result of the changes in Washington, and Nicole Harper, PhD, MBA, RHIA, CCS-P, C-CDI, who will present two sessions on ICD-10. In addition to an engaging lineup of speakers, attendees of the Spring Education Executive Symposium can:
- Attend up to 10 educational sessions, providing business planning and the tools needed to grow and succeed
- Select from two pre-conference sessions on Monday morning (April 7)
- Network with other executive colleagues at special events
- Visit the Exhibitor Showcase, with more than 50 technology and service vendors, consultants and healthcare business partners
Conference participants will receive up to 14 credits toward the designation of CHBME (Certified Healthcare Billing & Management Executive). The two pre-conference programs on Monday morning will each offer 4.0 additional credits.
