HBMA to Bring Together Billing Service Members for First Owners & Managers Conference of 2014

WASHINGTON – Medical billing company owners and managers are encouraged to attend the first HBMA Owner’s & Manager’s (O&M) Conference of 2014, to be held at the Andaz Hotel in San Diego, CA, February 6-8.
The HBMA 2014 Winter O&M Conference will position HBMA members for success with three days of forward-thinking educational sessions, designed specifically to help with continued growth in the billing industry, as well as networking opportunities that will maximize both learning and sharing among HBMA members. In addition to Robert Burleigh and David Jakielo, CHBME, the event will feature two added guest presenters, Dan Rode and Ted Stack.
- Robert Burleigh, CHBME, is president of Brandywine Healthcare Services. He is a past president of HBMA.
- David Jakielo, CHBME, President of Seminars & Consulting, has more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience. He is a certified trainer, frequent lecturer, author, and regular columnist in Billing.
- Dan Rode, MBA, CHPS, FHFMA, is president of Dan Rode & Associates, a consulting firm based in the Washington, DC metro area. Rode specializes in various aspects of HIPAA and HITECH regulations and compliance.
- Ted Stack has more than 25 years of healthcare service, technology, financial, operational, and entrepreneurial experience and is currently managing director of Falcon Capital Partners, LLC.
Participants in the 2014 O&M 2014 Conference may earn up to 18.5 CEUs toward the designation of CHBME (Certified Healthcare Billing and Management Executive).
