MIPS 2019 Final Rule

The Quality Payment Program is ramping up, and we now have details about the new requirements that your group may be subject to in 2019. Whittle Advisors has prepared an overview so that you can see the major changes at a glance.

Here are some of the Key Changes:

  • Doubling the performance threshold required to avoid a negative payment adjustment from 15 to 30 points
  • Increasing the exceptional performance threshold from 70 to 75 points
  • Expanding the types of MIPS eligible clinicians to include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, clinical psychologists, and registered dietitians or nutrition professionals.
