Speaker Bios:
Richard D. Raue
, BS, CISSP, CHSP, CHSA is the founder and principal owner of HiTech. He started HiTech in 1997 while finishing a Computer Science degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. Richard’s initial focus was on helping small businesses and residential clients manage their technology. HiTech quickly evolved into a healthcare focused MSP practice, primarily working with medical clinics and rural hospitals. Recognizing the need for ever tighter security, and seeing clients struggle with the complexity of Healthcare IT regulations, Richard and his team have invested heavily into certifications and training for every single staff member. He first became involved with HIPAA compliance around 2003 and helped two rural providers, during the initial trial phase CMS conducted with only 200 providers nationwide, to comply with what would later become Meaningful Use. Since then, Richard’s team conducts approximately 100 Risk Assessments per year, primarily for healthcare covered entities. Richard holds certifications as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified HIPAA Security Professional (CHSP) and Certified Healthcare IT Security Administrator (CHSA) along with many industry specific certifications covering various hardware and software solutions. In 2015, Richard co-authored the Amazon #1 best-seller “Under Attack”, contributing a section on “Defending Your Business Against a Data Breach”. He is also a facilitator for emergency preparedness tabletop exercises, dealing with scenarios ranging from hurricanes to ransomware attacks. When not at Hi-Tech, Richard is heavily involved in the community. As a member of Kiwanis International since 1999, and having held positions as Director, Club President and Lt. Governor for LouisianaMississippi-West Tennessee, Richard has participated in many service projects that directly or indirectly affected hundreds of local children. Richard also served as a director on the board of the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce for 5 years and is an Advisory Council Member at NewTech @ Ruston High School. Having 5 boys of his own, Richard serves as Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 59 and teaches Fishing, Wildlife Management, Personal Management and Communication merit badges.

Landon Tooke is the COO and Chief Compliance Officer of Impact Healthcare Solutions. He has over 22 years of experience in hospital administration, sales, compliance, cybersecurity, medical practice management, and revenue cycle management. He excels at working with hospitals and medical practices in financial turnarounds with an emphasis on personnel development, business culture, compliance, and the revenue cycle, speaking regularly on the subjects at regional and national conferences. Landon has served as a hospital CEO, a medical practice administrator, worked as a sales executive for a clinical laboratory, and was a clinician in Cardiovascular Services for a large acute care hospital.

Landon earned a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, a Master of Legal Studies in Health Law from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana Tech University. Landon earned graduate certificates in Strategic Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Healthcare Organization Operations from Rutgers University. Landon holds six compliance and cybersecurity certifications and a certification in Advanced Legal Research. Landon also completed the Conflict Resolution Theory and Practice Certificate Program through the Dispute Resolution Institute of Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
