HIPAA 5010 Puts Providers in IT Triage

HBMA member Jerry Killough was featured in Health Data Management’s March 2011 cover story, where he provided the crucial technical perspective on the new claims standard, and what it means for medical billers.

Although the forthcoming 5010 claims standard offers some benefits, meeting its 2012 deadline will be difficult for providers struggling to meet meaningful use. Read the full article here.
